Breast augmentation surgery is one of the most popular plastic surgery procedures performed in the United States year after year. If you are unsatisfied with the size of your breasts, the most effective solution is breast augmentation in Beverly Hills and Los Angeles with Dr. Dadvand.
Dr. Dadvand has years of experience performing breast augmentation surgery in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills. The number one goal for Dr. Dadvand is to perform surgery that will look natural and harmonious with your underlying anatomy. With breast augmentation, this means selecting an implant that is not too big or too small for your natural breast and skin quality. Choosing an implant that is too big can have short-term and long-term consequences that are detrimental to the quality of the skin and underlying chest wall.
Dr. Dadvand frequently spends over an hour with patients at their breast augmentation consults. This is to ensure that both he and the patient are on the same page in regards to the optimal surgical plan and implant size. During your consultation, Dr. Dadvand and you will discuss:
Dr. Dadvand performs breast augmentation surgery based on the following principles:
Why choose Dr. Dadvand? Dr. Dadvand is a double board-certified surgeon with a specialty in breast surgery. His technique that he has developed includes:
No. A common myth is that women who need a breast lift can avoid it by having larger breast implants placed. This will not only be unsuccessful in lifting the breasts, but it will also put excess strain on the tissues and skin leading to higher need for revision surgeries. A woman who needs a lift but only has breast implants placed will likely develop a “Snoopy Deformity”: the breast will look like Snoopy’s head in profile because the implant will sit up high and the breast tissue will remain low.
There are several factors that go into selecting the best implant size for a patient. The patient’s aesthetic goal is very important, but also has to be realistic with their actual breast and soft tissue anatomy. The base diameter of the breast is the most important measurement that plastic surgeons consider. This is the natural width of your breast with your arms at your sides. Not using an implant that is wider than your base diameter is very important. Dr. Dadvand uses the 3D Vectra camera system to give patients an image of what their breasts would look like with different size implants based on their specific breast dimensions. Finally, during the operation Dr. Dadvand uses sample implant sizers to determine what size is the most harmonious with both the patient’s pre-stated goals and their natural anatomy. Based on the sizers Dr. Dadvand is able to then place the best sized implants for each patient.

The short term risks of the surgery are bleeding and infection. However, these risks are very low because Dr. Dadvand developed a technique that leads to less than a teaspoon of blood loss during the surgery. Dr. Dadvand also uses a special antibiotic fluid to wash the posket before placing the implants. The long term risks of the surgery are capsular contracture, implant rupture, and implant rippling. Dr. Dadvand goes to great lengths in minimizing the risk of capsular contracture by using excellent technique, antibiotic solution, and a No-Touch technique to place the implants using the Keller funnel.
